To bring our vision to life, we've partnered with the University of Cambridge International Assessment - a rigorous yet flexible curriculum, renowned for academic excellence.

 

But at our core, we're not just about academics. We're about learning practical skills, nurturing curiosity and fostering a spirit of critical thinking. Our students don't just learn; they are doers who question, analyse and embark on adventures where they learn and discover more about life.

As far as possible, we aim to reduce computer, tablet and phone screen interaction of the students while they are at school.

Meet The Team

Alexandra Baroukh

Alexandra studied at the Universities of Heidelberg, Würzburg, and Frankfurt, specialising in German and French literature and Educational Science. She was awarded the Stipendium für Hochbegabte of the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung and later qualified in German as a Foreign Language.

She brings 34 years of experience in teaching, leadership, and educational consulting across international schools in Paris, Mumbai, Toulouse, Chennai, and Kanha–Hyderabad, and has served as a pedagogy and didactics consultant for the State of Hessen, Germany. Her work includes department building, team leadership, examining IGCSE and Abitur students, and leading project-based learning programmes internationally.

She currently serves as Principal of HIS Kanha Campus and, in parallel, as an educational officer and advisor to the German Government through the Agency of German Schools Abroad (ZfA), supporting the development of sustainable German departments at HIS.

Her professional focus is on hands-on, enquiry-led learning grounded in academic rigour, critical thinking, and social-emotional development. She places equal emphasis on academic excellence, life skills, and teacher professional development, and actively supports research partnerships and institutional collaboration.

She leads HIS, Kanha Campus with a clear focus on quality, purpose, and sustainable school development.

Our Teachers

Our teachers will be mentored by certified Cambridge instructors to not only deliver the curriculum to international standards but also make it come alive for every student, honing their strengths. With a deep understanding of effective teaching methods, they craft diverse, enjoyable activities that empower students to apply knowledge in real-world contexts, ensuring a holistic learning journey.
 
We are working with an internationally based team to ensure our teaching training is world-class right from the outset and to support us to develop our own Teacher Training Centre with international accreditation within the next five years. In the meantime, we will be bringing in an experienced team to make sure that our teachers don’t just get trained, but they actually convert their learning into outstanding educational experiences and learning for our children.
